E-mail Forwarding in Shared Web Hosting
If you have a shared web hosting plan with our company and you create an e-mail address inside your account, you will be able to forward it with only a couple of mouse clicks to another address of your choosing. The feature can be enabled when you set up a new mailbox or any time later and deactivated just as quickly in case you change your mind. This can be done with the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel in which you can control your account. Additionally, you will have the option to decide whether a backup of the incoming e-mails will remain on our servers or not. The advantage of this feature is basically that you will always have a backup on your end if anything occurs with the other email address or maybe it isn't active for whatever reason during the time an email is forwarded. When the feature not enabled, an e-mail will be received, forwarded and erased from our system regardless of whether the remote e-mail is working or not, so it is usually a good idea for it to be active just to be prepared.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you have a semi-dedicated server from our company, you will need a few mouse clicks in the Email Manager part of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward the emails configured on our end to a third-party e-mail address. Inside the exact same area you will also be able to see how many of your email addresses are forwarded and exactly where the inbound emails are going. You can enable or disable a forwarding account whenever you want and throughout the process you could also choose if a copy of the e-mails should be kept in our system or not. Although this option isn't a must have, it's handy since you will get a copy of the emails on our end in case that something happens with the third-party mailbox. Even when they have simply a temporary problem, you risk losing emails as once our system gets and forwards an e-mail, absolutely nothing will be stored on our end unless you selected a copy to be saved.
